The Albariño that tastes like Rías Baixas

Condes de Albarei is an Albariño wine from the Rías Baixas designation of origin, which belongs specifically to the Salnés subzone. Our winery is located in Cambados (Pontevedra), epicenter of elaboration and cultivation of this variety of native grape from Galicia and reference villa in the D.O.

Our vineyards are our own and are located in different parts of the area, very close to the coast, some at the foot of the sea, which translates to our references a salinity that has already become one of our hallmarks. The mineral character of our wines is given by the terrain, granitic, poor and sandy, where our vines grow. Counts of Albarei tastes like Rías Baixas, one of the most special areas of the country, where the weather – temperate but very rainy – favors that the vineyards have ideal characteristics to give us their best fruit.

The care with which our winemakers care for their vineyards, offer us a grape of excellent quality with which to make our wines: Albriños Condes de Albarei, Albarei Enxebre, Albarei Carballo Galego, Albarei Orixe, Albarei Áine, Albarei En Rama. And also our red wines from Galician native grapes such as Caíño and Espadeiro.

The quality, which we achieved thanks to strict controls of our technical team, and the love we put into each wine, has led us to grow throughout these years by jumping from the local to the state market and from there currently reaching such markets different and demanding like England, United States, Mexico or Japan.

Our winery was born in 1988 with a philosophy and an objective: to be a reference in Rías Baixas, making albariños of the highest quality. Currently we are a leading brand in one of the areas with the greatest wine tradition in Galicia. Thanks to you, we will continue to grow and improve day by day.
